Overview
Universal Connector for PeopleSoft Process Scheduler (UPPS) controls background processing within a PeopleSoft system either from a command line or from a Universal Controller task. The command line interface allows any computer (and therefore any scheduling tool) on the network to manage PeopleSoft Process Scheduler background processing tasks via the local command line.
You indicate to Universal Connector for PeopleSoft which PeopleSoft system to connect to and what background processing tasks to perform. Universal Connector for PeopleSoft connects to the PeopleSoft system and processes your request.
