The APPL_RETRY_COUNT option is an SSL/TLS AFT (Application Fault Tolerant) option.
SSL/TLS AFT (Application Fault Tolerant) options are associated with program execution, not commands. They are used to configure the environment and behavior of HTTPS connections with the PeopleSoft system. They can be used with any command, but they only impact HTTPS connectionsto retry Web Service calls that were successfully sent by UPPS, but failed on the backend PeopleSoft server.
