A user interface Navigator displays on the left-hand side of every page in the Universal Controller user interface.


The Navigator is comprised of user-selected services from the Available Services

  • To add a service to the Navigator, click the star icon next to the service in Available Services.

  • The star turns blue to signify that it has been added to the Navigator.
  • To remove a service from the Navigator, click the blue star next to the service in Available Services. The star turns from blue to white to signify that the service has been removed from the Navigator.


Recently Visited

The Recently Visited section to the left of Available Services identifies sections of the user interface that you have recently accessed.

The most recent sections are at the top of the list.






Image Added

Identifies the Cluster Node time, as indicated by the Node Time Display user preference.

A color indicator to the left of the time identifies the status of the Cluster Node:

  • Active
  • Passive
  • Offline
  • Unknown

You can click this element, or the Universal Controller environment element (above), to display the System Details widget, as displayed on the default Home Dashboard or selected from the Widgets list.



 


 

The Navigator provides access to all areas of the user interface via five separately displayed navigation panes. Each navigation pane provides links to specific pages in the user interface, such as a record type or list. When you hover you cursor over a link, it is highlighted in gray. When you click a link, the highlight is removed.
