Overview

The UDMG Admin user interface (UI) is comprised of two three basic elements:

  • Home panel
  • Services panelNavigation Pane
  • Lists
  • Details

When a user logs in to the UDMG user interfaceAdmin UI, the home page displays.The home page opens page opens by default with the Transfers Activity dashboard. The Services panel UDMG Admin UI navigation pane on the left side of the page lists all the available available Services.

User Interface Details

In addition to the Home panel and the Services panel, the Home Page - and all pages accessed via Services - The UDMG Admin UI contains the following information (except where noted):

Section

Description

Link to the Stonebranch website.

System Identifier defined by the "udmg.system_identifier" login service property.

The banner background color and logo are defined by the "udmg.banner.background_color" and "udmg.banner.logo" properties.

User-specific information for the logged-in user.

  • Change Password: Change Password dialog for the user.
  • User Sessions: List of currently authenticated user sessions.
  • Logout: Logs out the user from the user interface.

After changing the user's password, the user is required to logout and provide the new credentials.

Node and Internal Service Status (System Details).

The color-coded bars show the internal service status:

  • Green: Service is operational, and all services are Running or Offline (either disabled or stopped by a user).
  • Orange: Service is degraded and at least one (1) service is in the Error state.
  • Red: Service is failing and one (1) of the main services (Admin, Database, Controller) is not running.
  • Grey: Service is not reachable and UDMG Admin UI cannot refresh the status.


The background color shows the node status:

  • Active
  • Passive
  • Offline
  • Unlicensed

When the Console is hidden, it opens automatically to display error ( x ) and information ( i ) messages.

Error messages related to specific fields are displayed next to the fields themselves in the record Details, not in the Console.

The Console can be opened manually at any time by clicking the UDMG Console icon on the User Task Bar.

Select and Copy

Select message text one of three ways:

  • Drag your cursor across any of the text.
  • Double-click a single entry in the text to select only that entry.
  • Triple-click anywhere in the message text to select all of the text.

Use Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V to copy and paste the selected text.

Close

Close the Console either by:

  • Clicking the Close icon at the top of the Console.
  • Clicking the Console icon on the User Task Bar.
