The physical files are proxied to the in / out directory of the UDMG Server. New Files on the UDMG Server can be identified using a “classical file monitor” or via the new Universal “Event” Monitor. Each time a file transfer action occurs an Event is generated, which can be used to trigger the Universal “Event” Monitor. UDMG provides the UDMG server for FTP(sS), SFTP, PeSIT, and HTTP(sS) protocols.
UDMG Authentication Proxy
The UDMG Authentication Proxy enables the authentication and authorization of the UDMG Admin UI users through the REST API of the UDMG Server. It provides a token mechanism to maintain the authenticated connection for a period of time. It is capable to use an LDAP Service to authenticate users and synchronize them with the UDMG Server. It is also capable to use Single Sign-On (SSO) identity providers with SAML, OpenID, or OAuth.
UDMG Admin UI
The configuration of the Business Partner and virtual server are done via the UDMG Admin UI, where you can configure:
- The Virtual Server IP & Protocol
- The In and out directory of the MFT Servereach virtual server
- Virtual Folders
- Certificates
- Rules
- Partners
- etc.
