Description

The AUTHENTICATE_PEER option specifies whether or not OMS server will validate the host name and/or IP address of the client that tries to connect. The information taken from the client's session must match the information in the client's certificate in order for the validation to be successful.

Value

option is the specification for whether or not the OMS Server will authenticate peer's host name and/or IP address.

Valid values for option are:

  • yes
    Authenticate hostname and/or IP address
  • no
    Do not authenticate hostname and/or ip address


Default is yes.
