Create an Ad-hoc File Transfer Link
Step 1 | Login to the Web Transfer Client. |

Step 2 | From the landing page, double-click on the folder storing the file to be sent via the ad-hoc file transfer link. |
Step 3 | Select the checkbox of the file to be sent via ad-hoc file transfer link. |
Step 4 | Select the Share File icon ( ). |
Step 5 | Enter the required fields in the Share File pop-up window. The fields include:

Step 6 | Click CREATE LINK button. |
Step 7 | Click the copy button and distribute the link as necessary. Click CLOSE to exit out of the pop-up window. |
Edit an Ad-hoc File Transfer Link
Step 1 | Login to the Web Transfer Client. |

Step 2 | From the landing page, select the Environment drop-down and select Adhoc Activity. Notes:

Step 3 | Select the ad-hoc file transfer record checkbox of the appropriate file. |
Step 4 | Use the Task bar icons to Extend, Revoke, and Copy Link to Clipboard.
Note: If the Extend Ad-hoc Transfer field is left empty the link will not have an expiration date.
Note: A revoked ad-hoc file transfer link cannot be restored. A new link must be generated for the associated file and parameters.

Accessing the Ad-hoc File Transfer Link
Step 1 | Share the ad-hoc file transfer link and password (if added) with the intended users. Share the password separately or via a different method to increase security. |

Step 2 | Click link or copy/paste the link in the browser. |
Enter a password. If a password was not added to the link, then just click DOWNLOAD. Note: The user will receive an error message if the password is incorrect. | |
Step 3 | Click DOWNLOAD and the file will download automatically. |
View the Ad-hoc File Transfer Links - UDMG Admin UI
Ad-hoc file transfer information, including URL and token information, is accessible in multiple places from the UDMG Admin UI navigation pane.

Step 3 | To view additional ad-hoc file transfer details, double-click on the transfer record. ****Missing local file path and remote file path |
Step 4 | To confirm, the transfer was an ad-hoc file transfer, click on the Information tab. All ad-hoc transfers will have "ad-hoc" in the key. ***Missing token column. |
