DISPLAY PRCS PROMPT - UPPS Command

Description

The DISPLAY PRCS PROMPT command displays a list of the specified prompt values available in the PeopleSoft system.

Command Line Syntax

The following figure illustrates the command line syntax of the DISPLAY PRCS PROMPT command, using the command line, long form of its configuration options.

-display prcs_prompt -prompt {RunStatus | DistributionStatus | ServerName | ProcessTypes | OperatorId | RecurrenceName | Time zones} [-outfmt {text | xml}]

Command Argument

The DISPLAY PRCS PROMPT command can be expressed as either:

  • -D (Short form)
  • -display (Long form)

The DISPLAY PRCS PROMPT command argument, prcs_prompt, requests the display of the list of the specified prompt values available in the PeopleSoft system.

PROMPT values are case sensitive.

OUTPUT_FORMAT

-outfmt

Format of the output for this command:

  • text: output will be formatted for human consumption.
  • xml: output will be formatted as XML.
