Integrated Python Run-time Environment

To support running Universal Tasks from the Universal Controller, customers have the option to install a Python run-time environment with the Universal Agent installation. As many of the Universal Task examples available in the Stonebranch Marketplace require specific versions of Python and utilize optional Python modules, this prerequisite can be satisfied by taking advantage of the option to install Python along with the Universal Agent install.

New Agent Install Options

Installation parameters that set values for the following Universal Automation Center Agent (UAG) options can now be specified as part of the installation process:

• AUTOMATICALLY_START
• AGENT_IP
• AGENT_CLUSTERS

Automatic path resolution for UCMD, UDM, and USAP when executed from UAG

Universal Controller users executing UDM File Transfer, Universal Command, and SAP tasks will no longer have to ensure that each execution user (credential) has the location of the UCMD, UDM, or USAP manager .exe specified in its path. This change ensures that these tasks will work without additional configuration.
