Universal Control Server for zOS - Component Definition

Overview

All Universal Agent components managed by Universal Broker have a component definition. The component definition is a text file of options containing component-specific information required by Universal Broker. (For details on how Universal Broker manages components, see Universal Broker 7.2.x Reference Guide.)

The syntax of a component definition file is the same as a configuration file.

The UCTL Server for z/OS component definition is located in the component definition library UNVCOMP allocated to the Universal Broker ddname UNVCOMP. The UCTL Server component definition member is UTSCMP00.
