Description

The KEY_SIZE option specifies the key size of the RSA public / private keys.

Usage

Method	Syntax	IBM i	HP NonStop	UNIX	Windows	z/OS
Command Line, Short Form	-s size
Command Line, Long Form	-key_size size
Environment Variable	UCRKEYSIZE=size

Values

size is the key size (number of bits) of the RSA public/private keys.

Valid values for size are:

• 512
• 1024
• 2048
• 3072
• 4096

Default is 2048.
